Our Fall Family Camp is part storybook adventure, part cozy camp, and part unforgettable fall vacation—created just for kids and the grownups who love them.

Whether you’re raising a reader or rediscovering the joy of reading together, this long weekend invites you to relax, reconnect, and make memories built around the magic of books.

And yes—there’s a movie night, too! We’ll watch a beloved book-turned-film with cozy blankets and snacks in hand.

What’s Included:

Daily Book Adventures

Each day starts with a themed story and unfolds into hands-on fun—think crafts, scavenger hunts, nature walks, themed food, and creative play.

Book-to-Movie Night

Gather with your fellow readers for a special screening of a favorite book adaptation, complete with popcorn and discussion afterward.

Bring-a-Book Tradition

Each guest is invited to bring:

• One favorite book to read during the retreat
• One book to donate to our Little Free Library
• One book to share or swap with a new friend

Evening Campfire Circles

Gather around the fire for songs, hot chocolate, and read-alouds under the stars, with plenty of time to reflect and wind-down together.

All Meals & Snacks Included

No cooking, no clean-up. Just delicious, kid-friendly meals from Friday dinner through Monday breakfast.

3-Night Stay at South Shore Resort & Retreats

Rustic-chic cabins, lake views, and space to roam—perfect for reading, relaxing, and recharging.  Note: It is likely you will share bathrooms with other Family Campers, but not bedrooms.  If this presents a problem for your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out; we will find a solution for you.
